We care about our nature, especially here in the mountains. For years, the mountain railway company has been trying to leave only the best possible social, economic, and ecological footprint. The unique cultural landscape is one of the most valuable things that we want to protect and preserve.
We want to create awareness and invite you to enjoy the days on Mount Plose as conscious experience with respect, appreciation, enjoyment.

The 4 sculptures by the artists AliPaloma and Mirijam Heiler bring visitors closer to the topic of garbage in the mountains: “Our garbage sculptures refer to the custom of taking your rubbish back down from the mountain and remind us that garbage must be taken home.”
Implemented in cooperation with the South Tyrolean Arts Association.

Refill your bottle
Avoid disposable plastic bottles – our good drinking water makes it possible! You may refill your own bottles at the drinking water fountains on Mount Plose.
Already in 2019, the alpine huts and lodges on Mount Plose already banned all plastic water bottles from the mountain and are happy to fill up your water bottles. For the quality of our water with 0 km – for the environment. www.brixen.org/km0

Try the many regional products in the restaurants and alpine huts on Mount Plose. You support local producers and promote small cycles. By the way, they taste delicious too!
