Ski Patrol

For your safety

Since January 1, 2022, some new safety rules for ski areas are in force in Italy.

Helmets are compulsory for everyone under the age of 18. So, in Italy, underage people must wear a helmet when skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freestyle, or tobogganing.

Skiing and practicing other winter sports is strictly forbidden under the influence of alcohol or toxicological substances. Since the law does not specify any explicit alcohol limit values, it is obvious that the implementation will be based on similar rules (road traffic regulations), which in Italy allow a maximum of 0.5 mg alcohol per litre of blood.

Third-Party liability insurance

As of 1 January 2022, ski resorts in Italy require everyone to be insured. Liability insurance must cover damages to third parties. This is not included with your skipass. If you don’t already have an insurance policy, you can buy one online.

We recommend you to take a copy of your liability insurance in digital or paper form with you.

You must prove that you have insurance if asked by the police, but don’t have to prove you have insurance to purchase a skipass. Skiing without insurance may lead to a fine and/or having your skipass withdrawn.

Ski Patrol

In order to offer all guests a professional rescue service in the ski area, we have boosted our rescue team. This ensures that our ski angels can help anyone who has had an accident on the slopes even faster and better. This, of course, involves elevated costs, which is why we charge a flat-rate fee for each accident:

  • 50 € + VAT for first aid in the first aid station
  • 200 € + VAT for first aid and transport of injured persons in the ski area

Accidents can be reported at all ski lift stations, at the lodges, the ski pass office and of course at the general emergency number 112.

Tobogganing Safety

When tobogganing, please pay attention to your safety and that of the other tobogganists. We recommend good equipment, sturdy shoes, stable toboggans and a safety helmet. The use of the toboggan runs for all attendees at their own risk! The operator of the toboggan runs does not take any responsibility. Parents are responsible for their own children.
